Lately between work assignments as an illustrator I've been developing my first real attempt at my own children's book. It's centered around a group of woodland creatures who decide to put aside their burdensome work and enjoy the day together.
It's a scary venture for me in so far as the writing side goes. I've read a number of books on writing for children and they have been helpful but I think I need genuine feedback from others who have already gone through the process.
So if there is someone out there who is willing to critique my story or is part of a good writing group, please let me know.
